Michelle Hebert-Giffen has a career focusing on public policy and education. She served as a legislative analyst for the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) of Virginia’s General Assembly. While working in this job, Ms. Hebert-Giffen assisted in studies that evaluated the efficiency and efficacy of Virginia’s welfare program and child protective services program. She also contributed to a study that reviewed the performance of Virginia’s public schools.
Ms. Hebert-Giffen also has extensive experience as an educator. She taught elementary education in Henrico and Fairfax, Virginia.
Ms. Hebert-Giffen lives in Fairfax, Virginia with her husband and son. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia where she also earned a Masters of Teaching degree and a Masters of Education Policy and Program Evaluation.
Ms. Hebert-Giffen’s work with Meeder Consulting focuses on supporting virtual professional learning communities, conducing federal and state policy analysis, and documenting promising practices in high school redesign.
Jennifer Y. Grams has 15 years of experience in the government and non-profit sectors. She has served as the Assistant Town Administrator in Brookline, Massachusetts and as a Group Administrator at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Other positions include: Budget Analyst for the City of Boston and Assistant Press Secretary at the Ohio House of Representatives. Jennifer earned a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University and her undergraduate degree from Denison University.
Ms. Grams’ work with Meeder Consulting focuses on innovative practices between education and business, technical skill assessment systems, and CTE program accountability.
Nichole Jackson has been involved with education issues for over ten years. Prior to joining MCG, Nichole was the Director of Government Relations at the National Association of State Directors of Career Technical Education where she covered secondary and postsecondary policy issues, including high school reform, the Perkins Act, the Higher Education Act, and the Workforce Investment Act.
As an independent consultant, Ms. Jackson has been tracking implementation of the Perkins Act for the National Association of State CTE Directors, and providing curriculum development services to the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education. Ms. Jackson has a B.S. in Mass Communication with minor in English from the University of Charleston, Charleston, West Virginia.
